Committed to the music of
The Allman Brothers Band with authenticity, passion and respect.
A mutual love for the music of The Allman Brothers Band brought the members of ‘Brothers Again’ together to honor one of the greatest bands ever. The Allman Brothers Band pioneered the sound that became known as Southern Rock.
Formed in 1969 in Jacksonville, FL, founding members included Duane Allman (slide guitar & lead guitar), brother Gregg Allman (vocals & keyboard), joined by Dickie Betts (lead guitar & vocals), Berry Oakley (bass), Butch Trucks (drums) and Jaimoe Johanson (drums). The band performed a mix of rock, blues, jazz, gospel and country to create their authentic sound.
The Allman Brothers Band had 7 Gold albums and 4 Platinum albums and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1995.
Each of the seven members of ‘Brothers Again’ have unique stories on how ABB played a part in the development of their interest in music and the formation of their tribute show.
