Queen formed in London in 1970 with Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), and later joined by John Deacon (bass). Queen have been a global presence in popular culture for more than half a century, with record sales estimated at 250 million to 300 million, making the band one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time. They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, and with each member having composed hit singles, all four were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2005. In 2018, Queen earned the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
‘Queen Lives!’ recreates the stunning vocals, and electrifying performances of Queen. This production features Roy Cruz as Freddie Mercury. Roy has performed extensively in New York, California, Mexico, Florida and toured around the world. His experience throughout his career has afforded him the opportunity to work with top headliners.
