Piano Party turns the theatre into a party with an all-request, interactive dueling piano show where the audience chooses the soundtrack. From sing-a-longs to high-energy dance favorites, requests come from the crowd, the pianists take it from there, and no two performances are ever quite the same.
At the drop of a party hat, the music can move from classics of the ’60s and ’70s to throwback favorites of the ’80s and ’90s, today’s biggest hits and everything in between. Depending on what the audience requests, the pianists might launch into “Piano Man,” “Twist and Shout,” “Sweet Caroline,” “Dancing Queen,” “Go Your Own Way,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “I Want It That Way,” “Uptown Funk” or one of today’s biggest hits—all brought to life at the pianos.
With two dynamic piano entertainers, terrific vocals, humor, spontaneity and plenty of audience participation, Piano Party delivers one great song after another in an evening built around music everyone knows and loves.
Founded in 2017 by Orlando-based singer, songwriter and pianist Katie Pinder Brown, Piano Party was created to bring world-class dueling piano entertainment to Performing Arts Centers across the country.
The show can also be expanded with drums, bass and/or guitar, bringing an even bigger live sound to the Piano Party experience.
