Natural Woman: A Tribute To Carole King

NATURAL WOMAN: A Tribute to Carole King celebrates the remarkable music of Carole King, one of the most influential singer-songwriters of our time. From the chart-topping songs she wrote during her legendary Brill Building years to the landmark album Tapestry, King created a body of music that has become part of the American soundtrack.

At the piano is acclaimed vocalist and performer Katie Pinder Brown, who has been touring NATURAL WOMAN for more than a decade, bringing Carole King’s music to audiences across the country. Her rich, soulful voice, accomplished musicianship and natural connection with audiences are at the heart of a show that has become a signature part of Katie’s career.

Long before becoming a celebrated recording artist herself, Carole King was writing hits for some of the biggest names in popular music. With Gerry Goffin, she created classics including “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” “Up on the Roof,” “The Loco-Motion” and “One Fine Day.” Then came Tapestry, the groundbreaking 1971 album that became one of the defining recordings of the singer-songwriter era and introduced another extraordinary collection of songs to generations of listeners.

It is this remarkable musical journey that Katie brings to the stage in NATURAL WOMAN. Joined by a six-piece all-female band, she takes audiences from the Brill Building hits through Tapestry and the music that followed. Multimedia is woven throughout the production, with Katie performing in sync with Carole King on screen at key points in the show—creating some of the concert’s most memorable moments.
